OUT OF THE BOX PERFORMING ARTS IS ON A MISSION TO DEVELOP SKILLS, CONFIDENCE,
AND PASSION IN PERFORMERS SEEKING TO PURSUE A CAREER IN THE ARTS THROUGH
EXPERT-LEVEL COACHING, THEATRE PRODUCTIONS, AND OTHER PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES.
Becky has been a Vocal/Musical Theatre Coach in Riverside and the Inland Empire for the last 20 plus years.
She has had the pleasure of coaching many students to success in their musical theatre and performing arts endeavors.
Becky has a high success rate of helping students land the roles they are auditioning for and placement in the programs they audition for including college admission to competitive musical theatre programs such as NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, Ithaca College, Molloy’s Cap21 BFA program, Baldwin Wallace, PACE University, UCLA, SDSU, Cal State Fullerton, Cal State San Bernardino, Manhattanville University, and several others. Many of her students are now actively cultivating their careers as actors, filmmakers, casting directors, singers, and teachers. Her singers have received platinum, high gold, and gold honors in local, national, and international competitions and she has three past winners of the Riverside Sings Competition. Becky also has students who have been nomiated and honored through recognition and scholarship in the Lucie Arnaz Awards, JRAYs, ThesFest, and more.
Becky was the owner of Empire Performance Studio in Riverside.
It was there she produced over 40 full-scale musical productions. Becky was not only the producer for all of the shows but also the director, musical director, choreographer, technical director, set designer & artist, and costume designer.
As a Vocal Coach - Becky pushes her students to excellence and emphasizes the importance of practice, hard work, and consistency. With attention to technical detail Becky has helped many students grow in their vocal skill, range, style, and confidence. As a Musical Theatre Coach - Becky enjoys giving performers the chance to bring their own natural instincts to the characters they portray and the songs they sing while also pushing them to dig deeper as actors and hold themselves to a higher standard of commitment to and excellence in their performance.
Becky has a great passion for empowering others to pursue their dreams. She thrives on helping people hone their skills and talent while also challenging them to grow as a person as well. She hopes Out Of The Box Performing Arts will be a place for all performers to find empowerment, growth, encouragement, and inspiration to not only strive for but to truly achieve excellence in the lesson room, in the audition room, in life, and on the stage.
